At Tammy’s Daycare, we believe childhood is a magical time full of curiosity, discovery, and growth. Our mission is to provide a loving, safe, and nurturing environment where every child feels at home — cared for as if they were part of our own family. The first years are vital for building confidence, social skills, and a love of learning. That’s why our programs focus on play-based exploration, early literacy, sensory development, and movement — thoughtfully designed to support each child’s unique stage of growth. Every day at Tammy’s is filled with laughter, creativity, and joyful discovery. From art projects and storytime to outdoor play and imaginative adventures, children are encouraged to explore, develop friendships, and express themselves, while parents trust us to provide a caring, supportive community where every milestone is celebrated.

Tamar Changashvili (Tammy)
Founder & Provider
The founder of Tammy’s Daycare, Tamar began her career in Tbilisi, Georgia, where she worked for 10 years as an educational professional, ESL teacher, and teacher trainer. Her passion for helping children and educators grow inspired her to dedicate her life to nurturing young minds and creating meaningful learning experiences.
After moving to the United States, Tammy discovered her love for working with younger children and began teaching in several daycare centers throughout the Park Slope neighborhood. These experiences deepened her understanding of early childhood development and inspired her to create a warm, home-like space where children could learn, play, and feel truly cared for.
Bringing a wealth of experience and a lifelong dedication to education, Tammy founded Tammy’s Daycare in 2020. Together with her mother, she now proudly runs two locations in Park Slope, offering a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where every child can grow, explore, and thrive.
Tammy graduated from Tbilisi State University with a degree in English Language Philology, earned a Master’s in Educational Administration in Georgia, and received her second Master’s in Higher Education Administration from Baruch College in 2024. Her strong educational background and genuine love for children continue to guide the heart and philosophy of Tammy’s Daycare.

​​​Natia has been a valued member of Tammy’s Daycare 10th street location for more than two years. With her kind heart, gentle approach, and creative spirit, Natia brings warmth and joy to our community.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Tbilisi State University in Georgia and has several years of experience working with young children. After moving to the United States, Natia gained her early childhood experience through several professional training sessions. She is passionate about supporting children's emotional and social development through play, art, and exploration.
She takes great pride in creating a nurturing, engaging environment where every child feels loved, understood, and encouraged to grow. Her caring nature and dedication make her an essential part of the Tammy’s Daycare family.

She brings over 3 years of prior experience in early childhood education in Georgia, where she discovered her passion for helping young children learn and grow through play, exploration, and creativity.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Tbilisi State University and continues to deepen her knowledge in child development through ongoing professional learning and hands-on experience.
Tamuna finds great joy in working with young children, guiding them as they build confidence, curiosity, and independence. She believes in creating a warm, supportive, and engaging environment where every child feels safe, loved, and inspired to reach their full potential.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
